First in Ohio/Nation to carry Fisher&Paykel Appliances

Fisher&Paykel Appliances. Bennet's Appliance Centers of Orrville, located in North East Ohio were one of the first Retailers in the State/Nation to carry Fisher&Paykel Laundry Machines.
The washers are so energy efficient because of the engineering using computer controlled instrument panels which limit the amount of water needed to effectively wash your clothes.
This washer uses no gears, pulleys and transmissions, but a DC motor attached to the agitator and is capable of spin speeds up to 1,000 RPM
I personally have used Fisher&Paykel in my own home for the past 10 years or more and I can tell you they are one of the most energy efficient washers available and very dependable.

Using laundry detergent

While I'm talking about detergent, I would like to help you understand what detergent is necessary for proper cleaning of clothes and longer life for your high efficiency washing machines.
The High Efficiency washers that we sell today, this includes top loading and front load machines. They are designed to use HE "High Efficiency" laundry detergent. If old style detergent is used there may be a problem with too much suds, your clothes may not get clean and your machine could be damaged. Bennet's carry our own laundry detergent specially made for us that we sell at a competitive price. It is special formulated for HE laundry machines that we sell. It is HE, Phosphate Free, Low Suds and Biodegradable.

Some Laundry tips to save money

You seasoned homemakers probably already know all the things I am going to say. Some of you may find a few new tips.

First of all, It is still a good idea to sort your clothes, keeping whites separate, towels/sheets together, permanent press/no iron, delicate, dirty work clothes. Decide if you really need Hot or Warm water or if all Cold will wash just fine. Always match the water level to the amount of clothes you put into the tub. Try to not stuff clothes into the tub.

My suggestion on detergent is, you will always be better off to use a little less, than too much.
Our Maytag repairman once said that generally far too much laundry detergent is used on most washes. He said many people could probably wash quite a few loads of clothes with out even adding any detergent because so much was still clinging to the outer tub of the machine.
